  1. How do I apply for a charitable contribution?

This brochure provides further details on our charitable giving process and lists those requirements an organization must submit in order to be considered for a contribution request. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

  2. What are your focus areas for giving?

    Within the local communities surrounding our headquarters locations, our focus for giving is healthcare access and disease prevention, education, arts and culture, environment, provision of basic needs to the underserved, and interventions for youth at risk.

    Outside of our headquarters area, our charitable giving is focused on the appropriate treatment of pain and supporting programs and services aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals and their families impacted by the following diseases:

    • Alzheimer’s
    • Atrial fibrillation and stroke prevention
    • Bipolar disorder
    • Diabetes
    • Schizophrenia
    • Thromboembolic disease
  3. What geographic areas fall within your local community?

    Our local community is defined as Mercer, Somerset, and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey, and Bucks County in Pennsylvania.

  6. If we are requesting support for a fundraising event, how long before the event do we need to request the contribution?

    With the exception of most walks, we have generally moved away from support of fundraising events. If your request is to support a walk, please ensure that your request is submitted at least 2 months prior to the event date. We will not consider requests under this time frame.

  7. What is the time frame for submitting a request?

    Charitable contribution requests for support in the areas noted below may be submitted within the respective time periods noted.

    • Local and State Mental Health Organizations: March, April, and May
    • Local Community Organizations (Organizations based in Hunterdon, Somerset & Mercer counties in NJ, and Bucks County in PA): August and September
    • Organizations with a National Footprint: September

    All other requests will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year. If your request is in support of an event, it must be submitted at least 2 months prior to the event date. We will not consider requests that do not adhere to these established time periods.
